SUMMARY
This project will alleviate the suffering of 2500 women and girls of child bearing age who have been trapped in the on going war in the English Speaking Regions of Cameroon (former British Trust territory Southern Cameroon) aka Ambazonian. This war which is now in its 4 year has forced thousands of people to flee their communities (residences) into the bushes for safety from the confrontation between Restoration fighters and the Cameroun regular army. The civilians who escaped into the inaccessible and thickly forested areas are now living in misery in make shift settlements.

CHALLENGE
Our targeted group the Women and girls have no access to sanitary materials and have resulted to using leaves and other inhgienic materials from forest trees during their menstration exposing them to disease and other infections. In Lebialem Division whose main supply of industrial products and basic household necessities is Dschang or MENOUA Division in the French Speaking part of Cameroon the Cameroon military has mounted a blockade to prevent any goods from entering Lebialem the intention being to starve the people to surrender.

SOLUTION
The Supply of Health and Sanitary items, for example, Sanitary pad mark (Angels Secret) to 2500 women and girls of child bearing age.

Long Term Impact
In a society where there is great gender in equality where women are greatly disadvantaged and having very low income levels compared to men, high vulnerability the exposure of these women to diseases owing to poor hygiene poses a great danger to the entire community. This can be prevented. Granting that menstruation and the management of it is very confidential and strickly unique to women becomes very problematic with untold consequences
Living in the forest and make shift settlement for close to four years requires a lot of endurance. They can survive on their local agricultural food crops but the near total absence of industrial products contributes to making life almost unbearable. Healthy women and healthy girls mean healthy children. Women and girls of child bearing age constitute the future of any community. Therefore their health particularly that which borders on procreation can either make or mal.
Disease carrying women will negatively affect the health and productivity and growth of the entire society. And this should not be allowed to happen. Women/wives carry the relay batten of the children and welfare of the family. Women provide the comfort in the Family homes, teach and nurture the children. These functions cannot be fully exercise if they are exposed to diseases.Good health will also extend the length of stay in school by the girl child hence improved education. The supply of sanitary material and education on their use will greatly improve, protect and enhance the health of these women hence giving them the opportunity to play the role society demands of them.It will also improve the Life span of these women by about 20 years.
